La Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional, es la agrupación musical más representativa de nuestro país. Su primer antecedente es la Orquesta Sinfónica de México, fundada por el maestro Carlos Chávez en 1928.
La OSN ha obtenido diversos reconocimientos, como la nominación al Grammy Latino 2002 al Mejor álbum clásico y el premio Lunas del Auditorio Nacional como Mejor espectáculo clásico en 2004. Sobresale su constante apoyo para difundir el repertorio sinfónico mexicano y latinoamericano entre sus giras internacionales.
